Portrait photography isn't just about pushing buttons and twiddling dials, in fact, it isn't about that at all.

It's about building a rapport with the subject, making them feel comfortable enough to lower their mask enough to see behind, at what really makes them tick, their confidence, their character and their passion.

It's not all about smiles either. I will never ask you to smile. If you want to look happy on your photographs then I will make you happy. I won't ask you to pretend to be so.
